Our client, a leading provider in conference services, is seeking a Receptionist/Conference Service Coordinator to join their team. As a Receptionist/Conference Service Coordinator, you will be part of the customer service team supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a polished professional presence, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Receptionist/Conference Service Coordinator

Location: Lexington, MA 02421

Pay Range: $23.50 - $24.50 hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

  • Support customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring follow-up to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine inspections of conference/meeting rooms to ensure equipment is operational and rooms are fully stocked.
  • Coordinate and communicate event details with Catering and Facilities Management, along with other key stakeholders.
  • Utilize meeting scheduling software to create meeting space schedules, room layouts, and necessary documentation.
  • Provide on-site event coordination and client support, maintaining the highest level of service quality.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of related experience in a customer service-focused role.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and write instructions and correspondence effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple options in various situations.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with meeting scheduling software preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and self-starter mindset.
