Qualifications:
- High school diploma (prefer technology school training); job-related experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful experience with bookkeeping methods
- Knowledge and use of computer applications
- Knowledge and use of common office equipment and machines
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Goal
To respond to inquiries from staff and the public to provide requested information and/or referral to other parties and provide general clerical support as may be requested.
Performance Responsibilities
- Answers multi-line telecommunication system screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.
- Assists other personnel in providing support of the completion of their work activities.
- Distributes (e.g., mail, supplies, messages, keys) to appropriate parties.
- Evaluates situations (e.g., involving other staff, students, parents, the public) taking appropriate action and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Greets (e.g., the public, parents, students, vendors) and responds to their inquiries and/or directing them to appropriate personnel.
- Performs record keeping and various general and program-specific clerical functions (e.g., scheduling, copying, faxing) in support of assigned administrator and/or site with necessary materials as may be required.
- Processes documents, and materials for various departments.
- Responds to emergency calls notifying appropriate parties to address immediate safety issues.
- Schedules activities (e.g., meetings, work orders, vendors, staff coverage, facilities usage) to assist in meeting staff needs and efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and facilities.

Terms of Employment:
190 days; salary and work year to be established by the Board
