Beautiful, private and state-of-the art Cosmetic Dental Practice in Orange, CA is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator, Front Office Dental Assistant, or a Front Office Coordinator who wants to grow with our practice. We are a fee-for-service office with a dedicated team who care deeply for our patients. We have an exceptional reputation in the community. Our ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a long-term commitment, has a caring, positive and upbeat personality with great communication skills.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8-5pm
Compensation: Depends on experience
About the Role:
- As the first point of contact for our patients, youll set the tone for their visit. You will greet patients warmly, schedule and confirm appointments, verify insurance (if applicable), handle treatment plans and financial arrangements, and maintain accurate patient records. Your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the smooth operation of our practice.
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
- 3+ years of experience in a dental setting is preferred, especially in a luxury or high-end environment.
Knowledge:
- Can competently manage front office administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Knows how to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
- Understands the importance of infection control, patient privacy, and OSHA regulations.
- Is proactive in staying updated on best practices and office policies.
Skills:
- Knows how to work with dental practice management software, including OpenDental, to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and process billing.
- Understands front office maintenance, supply inventory, and the importance of maintaining a clean, organized reception area.
- Back office experience is beneficial
Competencies:
- Contributes to the team environment. Treats all with respect and courtesy
- Can accept constructive feedback
- Has a desire and ability to work well with patients of all backgrounds
- Is organized, motivated, committed, and self-directed
- Has a positive attitude about the practice and the services provided
