Position: Receptionist Location: New York, NY Rate: $20 - $23/hr depending on experience Duration: 6+ Months, strong potential for extension & full time conversion Overview: The Client Center Receptionist is responsible for delivering a seamless and professional experience for all visitors and guests. This role manages the day-to-day operations of the client conference center, including room reservations, visitor reception, and overall client experience. Responsibilities: Oversee scheduling and coordination of conference room reservations to ensure efficient use of space and resources. Greet and assist visitors with a warm, professional demeanor. Handle incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information and routing inquiries appropriately. Manage catering orders and support event logistics within the client center. Perform general administrative duties such as message-taking, mail sorting, and handling overnight packages. Support other administrative staff with overflow tasks including word processing, data entry, and internet research. Maintain a polished and service-oriented presence at all times. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience (prior receptionist, executive assistant, or hospitality industry, or similar) Professional appearance and strong communication skills Organizational skills as they will be the room coordinator Calm demeanor under pressure Team player, proactive individual Ambassador of Santander as first line point of contact for guests Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
