Receptionist & Facilities Coordinator

Performs necessary duties as a front office receptionist, under the general direction of supervisor; answering telephones, greeting guests, taking messages, and distributing packages combining with assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the ATEC Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Professionally answers incoming telephone calls on a multi-line phone.
  • Works on routine assignments to perform administrative duties for assigned staff, working within established procedures.
  • Screens and transfers calls to appropriate recipients, takes messages when necessary.
  • Records messages when recipients are unavailable.
  • Greets all walk-in guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
  • Assist & ensure visitors or vendors check in through the Envoy visitor system.
  • Maintains the reception area.
  • Maintains inventory of all office supplies, reordering or special ordering as required.
  • Maintains an inventory of water & snacks, order as needed through vendor.
  • Point of contact with the coffee/snack vendor on any changes, repairs or updates.
  • Point of contact with the plant vendor with any changes, requests up updates.
  • Performs various administrative tasks as requested by facilities or management such as emailing, copying, scanning, assembly of manuals, filing, and light typing.
  • Provides directions, parking and distribution instructions for Alphatec Spine.
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail; assembles and adds proper postage to outgoing mail; creates alternate shipping labels when necessary (i.e. FedEx).
  • General Knowledge of business units and functions required.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 - 2 years of experience in a receptionist position or applicable experience

For roles based in the United States that require access to hospital facilities, must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements (including the COVID-19 vaccine, as applicable).

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidates qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $25 to $27 Hourly Range
