Our Office Administrators work collaboratively with the entire staff at our campus to support the front office needs. You will work with people who are trained, energetic, and driven for our overall business, which is our students. Each day, you play an essential role in ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for our students and staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides superior customer service to students, parents, and staff
- Cares for sick and injured students
- Respond to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, courteous, and empathetic manner, representing Stratford School
- Coordinates and schedules meetings
- Screens and takes messages, including fielding/answering all routine and non-routine questions
- Pro-active in handling parent issues and concerns
- Uses discretion in all office communication with parents and staff
- Handles confidential and non-routine information professionally and explains school policies tactfully
- Responds to customer requests within 24 hours by telephone or e-mail
- Manages student enrollments, withdrawals, and wait lists efficiently and timely
- Tracks the student information data on the designated form, coordinates mailings, and follows up promptly
- Performs desktop publishing such as school newsletters, flyers, etc
- Maintain student and office files in a neat and orderly manner
- Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls
- Sorts and distributes mail
- Drafts campus written responses or replies when necessary
- Maintains office supplies and coordinates the purchase of supplies
- Proofreads and edits all outgoing correspondence
- Assembles student packets, enrollment packets, inquiry packets, and other mailings when necessary
- Assist and attend special events and other school functions
- Assist the Head of School and Director in managing their schedules
Skills/Knowledge/Education:
Completed High School Diploma or GED
A successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations keep the office environment relaxed and positive
