Overview of the Job

A school finance officer manages a school's finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and payments. They also provide administrative support to the school's principal.

Experience and Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. An advanced degree, such as an MBA Professional certifications, such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Compensation

  • Part-Time Hourly Wage: $17-$27
  • Based on Experience and Qualifications
  • Weekly Hours: 20-25

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall financial operations of the school, including development and maintenance of annual budget and long-range financial projections.
  • Accounting
  • Maintains FACTS Tuition financial records
  • Completes TN Department of Human Service Reports
  • Maintain financial systems and processes
  • Produce and analyze figures for accountants
  • Audit accounts, invoices, billing and expense claims
  • Budgeting
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets
  • Develop and maintain annual budgets and long-range financial projections
  • Financial reporting
