Respon sibilities:

General Receptionist duties

  • Greet all incoming guests and associates
  • Maintain the integrity of the security systems by ensuring all visitors are screened before entering the building
  • Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant manner
  • Be knowledgeable and courteous while assisting customers and transferring calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance
  • Assist in general office duties, including sorting and opening mail to deliver to the appropriate individual/department, maintaining contact lists, and assisting teams with projects as needed
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete basic mathematical equations
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables

Additional Building Specific Duties

  • Check in vendors and assist with room set up and sample transportation
  • Create and schedule regular email communication to vendors and associates as reminders for upcoming shows and meetings
  • Ensure each meeting room is ready for vendors and associates by tracking and preparing all equipment, conducting light cleaning, and stocking supplies
  • Manage relationships with all carriers to assist with the coordination of samples
  • Assisting with Line Leader travel by booking flights and travel arrangements
  • Assisting Line Leaders with the coordination of ProForm check-in and billing
  • Supporting other data entry tasks as needed

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have an associates degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Roles are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
