We are in search of an Executive Administrative Assistant to add to our team in our Newport News, VA office location.  This is a regular, full-time position that will provide executive support to the Chief Operating Officer. The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while helping to drive change in a growing organization.

Responsibilities (with our without accommodations): 

  • Manage and maintain the executive’s schedule including preparing travel arrangements
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare presentations for consideration by executives, committees and boards of directors
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution
  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma with 7+ years of relevant work experience providing administrative support to senior management level positions. Associates degree preferred.
  • High level of confidence, integrity and motivation
  • Detail oriented with exemplary organization skills
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Must be proactive, responsive and resourceful with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.      
  • Highly flexible and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Must consistently demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact well with all levels of clients, customers and internal personnel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
