Veterinary Receptionist

At Huntsville Animal Clinic, our clients are family, and we’re looking for a Veterinary Receptionist who shares that mindset. This role is more than answering phones or checking clients in—it’s about creating a warm, welcoming experience that reflects how much we care about every pet that walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally

  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage messages with efficiency and empathy

  • Provide accurate, friendly guidance to clients—before, during, and after visits

  • Maintain patient records and manage check-in/check-out using Avimark (preferred)

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth clinic flow

  • Help create a front-desk environment that feels calm, organized, and attentive

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic, vet hospital, or vet ER (required)

  • Experience with Avimark software is highly preferred

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • A calm, clear presence in a moderate-paced environment
